三聖文教中心緣起
本堂開山主持上普下瑜長老尼于1966年購地買現在三聖
佛堂地皮。
1974年創建三聖佛堂。
1993年再擴建三聖佛堂。
2000年擴建落成皆千佛開光，成現今的建築結構。
在這30多年，主要宣揚佛法，使三聖佛堂成為一個三寶具足的道場。如今佛堂除了
1. 宗教事業
2. 法會外

也積極發展社會專案如
1. 青年團
2. 兒童班
3. 各類生活營和課程
4. 講座
5. 禪修班等多樣化足以滿足老，中，少的活動。下個一個階段，佛堂的願景希望讓佛陀智慧生活化，屆時，將透過3個部分推動正法的傳播。

1. 社會關懷、社區服務和志工、主要是策劃並執行各項長短期的人道及社區關懷項目。透過各類計畫、引導人們對弱勢群體與社區課題注視，從而發揮四無量心，促進人與人之間的交流、並覺知自然與環境對人類社會的重要性。
2. 第二部分包恬了宗教、禪修與組織發展，透過佛學、經文、禪修、各類與佛法相關的課程與活動，兒童、青年與老年等的組織項目，推動佛法的重要精神。
3. 第三部分由圖書館、教育研究和文化事業組成。主要企劃、執行與引導社會的公益性文化，並積極研究教育的各方面，包括了學前教育、青少年教育與終生教育。希望透過人文藝術，書籍、教育工作等方面，提高人們的思想道德水準和科學文化素質。

三聖佛堂文教中心將會是一棟4層樓的現代化建築，耗資
大約一千萬令吉。目標2年內竣工，以滿足日益增多的信
徒與活動及上述所提及3個部分的發展計畫。
概念有：
1. 幼稚園
2. 活動中心
3. 禪堂
4. 大雄寶殿
5. 多用途禮堂等等
三聖文教中心建造將分成三個階段：
第一個階段是地段的整頓和地基，費用大約250萬令吉。
第二個階段則是大樓的建造，耗資400萬令吉。
最後一個階段為內部細節與設備，需要大約350萬令吉。

目前第一階段的籌款建築籌募基金，以啟建護國息災佛母大孔雀明王冥陽兩利吉祥植福大法會，共籌得大約30萬令
吉。第一階段還需要大約220萬令吉。在三聖文教中心佈施細節的冊子裡，列名了各個部分所需要的大約款項。
所以希望在場的大德們，可以盡一份力量，透過不管是金錢佈施、物品佈施或是其他佈施方式，讓三聖文教中心可
以落成。並通過社會關懷、社區服務、教育研究等項目，以幫助更多的人。也讓佛陀的智慧得以延續，並培養自身
的慈悲心。

San Seng Education Centre’s Background
The San Seng Temple (SST) Founder, Master Shang Pu Xia Yu had bought current SST’s land in 1966.

She led in founding the construction of SST in 1974. In 1993, the SST was under the extended construction and completed by 2000.

In these 30 over years, SST’s core objective is to promote the Buddhism among the Buddhists, and make use of SST as the full capacity for Buddha practice. Current SST not only a place for religious activities and praying but also developing the society in particular groups:

  1. SST Youth
  2. Children Class
  3. Camps and Programs
  4. Seminars
  5. Meditation Classes

which activities are organizing for all age levels.

SST has a vision to transform the Buddha Intelligence in our lives (practice), hence the next mission is to initiate the rightful practice through the following three planning approaches:

  1. Social care, civil and volunteer service, mainly operating various long term humanity and social care programs through various plans, to guide the public in concerning the social issues and people with difficulties. Thus, practicing the four qualities of a pure mind that encouraging human interaction, and understand the importance of natural environmental effects towards civilization.
  2. The second approach is to implementing the essence of Buddhism through Buddha Education, Bible, Meditation, organizing various activities and programs that relevant to Buddhism for the children, adult and old citizen’s age groups.
  3. The third approach is founded by Education Research, Civilization and Library. Mainly focus on planning, implementing and promoting social and charity kinds of culture. Education research shall aggressively conducting pre-school, teenager and whole-life education. Civilization and Library used to improve human’s philosophy, human ethics and quality of social science via civil art, books and education.

SST Education Centre shall be a four level of modern building costing about 10 Million Ringgit, target of completion within 2 years, with the objectives of fulfilling high capacity number of Buddhists and the frequencies of activities being organized, together with 3 planning approaches I mentioned earlier.

Building Concepts:

  1. Kindergarten
  2. Activities Centre
  3. Meditation Hall
  4. Main Shrine
  5. Multipurpose Hall
  6. Movement Centre and so on.

SST Education Centre Constructions are divided into three stages:

1st stage: and setup and piling cost about 2.5 Million Ringgit.

2nd stage: Building construction cost 4 Million Ringgit.

Last stage is the internal and facility setup, requiring about 3.5 Million Ringgit.

Currently, first stage construction fund raising through various Buddhists praying activities, total fund being raised are about 300 Thousand Ringgit. First stage still lack of about 2.2 Million Ringgit.

Particulars and amounts required for donation are listed in the SST Education Centre booklet.

Therefore, I humbly praying everyone here could generously donate in term of cash, materials or any other things. So, SST Education Centre can be established. In returns, many people will be benefitted to learn and continuously practicing Buddha’s Intelligence for the compassion, through the implementation of social care, civil service and education research kinds of programs.
